Your Questions, Answered
-
Not at all. The vast majority of our guests are joining us for the very first time. Tara personally guides you through the foundational asymmetrical rules and structural principles of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, ensuring you feel completely supported from the moment you pick up your first branch.
-
We provide absolutely everything you need for the session - including premium, seasonally sourced plant material, flowers and branches, a traditional Kenzan (pin mechanism), and the use of professional Ikebana tools. All you need to do is bring yourself!
-
Our intimate studio sessions take place in a serene, private creative home in Balham, London. To preserve the exclusive and peaceful nature of the space, the exact location and travel directions will be shared with you via email immediately upon securing your workshop booking.
-
Yes, absolutely. You will leave the studio with your beautifully curated seasonal stems, completely ready to bring a structural, living piece of art and a sense of calm into your own home.
-
As we source natural delicate, premium materials specifically for the number of confirmed guests in each intimate cohort, bookings are non-refundable. However, if your plans change, you can freely transfer your place to a friend or family member at any time before the session begins. Simply drop a line to the studio to let us know.

As our studio is located via a few steps, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, or guests with mobility difficulty. If you have any specific mobility questions, please feel free to reach out before booking.
